CHICKEN PROJECT 1-13 SEVENTH-DAYS ADVENTIST ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Campaign. In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here.

SIGN POST OF THE ORPHANAGE HOME

The following story is about our visitation to Seventh-Days Adventist orphanage home, these chickens were donated, thanks to Vanessa Ellis, Montay Dixon, Catherine Smith And Deborah Miller. we were able to give away thirteen (13) chickens. This was our first visit this season and we gave away chickens 1-13 thanks to generous donations.

THE HOME

On our getting to this orphanage home, the women in charge taking care of the children was happy to see us and welcomed us as they do welcome those that come to visit the children to give several gift to them. We spoke with her telling her of our mission and what we brought for the kids which is live chickens, she was over happy and called those that will come help take the chickens inside. We also told her of taking some pictures of the kids with the chickens, she did not argue further after we told her that is from the Charity Home which they also will love to see for themselves to make sure that the chickens was all delivered.

The chickens been tied down while bringing them inside the compound of the orphanage home, so after bringing them all inside, the Nursing mother now went to bring along with her some so the kids who were inside to say hi.
The nursing mother bringing out the rest of the kids to come see what there visitors brought for them although some of the kids run back inside on seeing the chickens because they are afraid of them laughs, it was fun although but things went smoothly.
PICTURE WITH THE KIDS AND THE CHICKENS

The children seeing the chickens, some of them was happy while some was afraid of the chicken, we try petting them and carried the once crying and lucky we were able to the the pictures, seeing and visiting this kids brought me joy because at least we were able to visit the Lords children who were not privilege to grow up with there Parents and putting some smiles on there faces and also an encouragement to those out there to do the same with the little they can and the Blessings of the Lord will always be with them.

pictures of the kids from the side view trying to run to avoid going closer to the chickens, it was fun although the kids were very loving, once they sees you they would love coming close to you and even want you to carry them, they feel that Love when they are close.
this is on our way out, photo of the kids outside, the Nursing mother and a young man struggling with the chickens.
