CHICKEN PROJECT 1-14 A VISITATION TO NWAMAKA ORPHANAGE HOME

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Campaign. In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here.

LOCATION AND SIGN POST

The following story is all about NWAMAKA’S ORPHANAGE HOME and chickens were donated to them, getting to this place was challenging even to see road to park car due to the tightness of the road and busyness, we were at the point of turning back before a guy showed up to help us so we can be able to park our car which at the end of it all we got what we wanted, thanks to Jessica Castillo, Mary Harshaw, Lisa Anderson, Missy Schenkman, Kim Roussel, Angela McCollum, Amy Trettien, Melissa Silver. we were able to give away Fourteen (14) chickens. This was our first visitation here and we gave away chickens 1-14. Thanks To Generous Donations.

WAY TO THERE HOME

This is there door to inside and the woman before us also came to visit the children’s, we were welcomed warmly so we spoke with them and of our mission and what we need to get an ok of taking the picture of the kids with the chickens which they agreed without saying no or anything and everything went well.

TAKING THE CHICKEN INSIDE

This shows when we were bringing inside the chickens from the car, it was very heavy carrying then all in the in the cage but it was cool and nice to be here.
