CHICKEN PROJECT 12-22 PEACE SISTERS ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The Following story is about the PEACE SISTERS ABANDONED CHILDREN HOME, these chickens were donated thanks to Elizabeth Casavant, Breanna Falcone, Susanne Falcone, Stacie Mangold And Angelique Duplantis . We were able to give away 11 chickens. This is the second visit and we gave away chickens 12-22 thanks to generous donations.

This was our second place we visited.

PEACE SISTERS ORPHANAGE SITE LOCATION

Our journey to this place was a little bit hard before we could get it because we don’t actually know the place. So we have to stop and ask for more  direction to an orphanage home which took a little time to get to the exert  location at number 20 ADAELU ROAD, OFF OSISIOMA JUNCTION ABA, ABIA STATE, NIGERIA.

This is one of the good experience I or we have had trying to know and  visit the orphanage home. On getting to this place we were also welcome  much more with happiness, as usual we have to speak with the person in  charge of the home and also bringing to their notice of our visitation and  how much we Care about the kids. We request if taking a little picture is  allowed with the kids, it wasn’t accepted like the first but we were allowed  one photo of them, then the building.

PLACE WERE THEY STAY

Visiting this children brings me joy and some how filling bad in the sense  that we were able to put smile on their faces as we deliver the live chickens  to them. It makes me feel bad because seeing children like this, they  missed that motherly care or parental care but not withstanding, they are  not left alone and that is why so many of us are been blessed by God even to also extend that hand to the less privileged to bless their life’s also. They surrounded us and prayed with a kneeling prayer before we took our  leave  and thus ended for the day.
