Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Campaign. In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here.

The following story is about Ngwa Road Motherless Babies Home, this chicken were donated thanks to Gina Kaberline, Rochelle Pearson, Chelsea Irwin, Jennifer Domengeaux, Vanessa Ellis And Cat Neiheisel. We were able to give away Twelve (12) chickens. this was our second visitation and we gave away chickens 14-25 thanks to generous donations.

This was our second visit this day and it was a little stressful to get here because we almost missed the road so we have to make a call for more direction to get to the place, the road was occupied with much vehicles and also bad road, on getting to this place we were welcomed by the Ladies in charge of the home, we discussed with her and told her of our mission and what we brought for the kids of which she was happy but another issue here is that they don’t allow people taking pictures with the kids that we can only be allow to video or take a picture of the things in the babies home, we tried to help her understand that this does not come from us that we’re only an instrument to deliver the message given to us but no so we managed to take the once we an take.

This are the kids praying for the Lady that brought some gift for them, so when a visitor comes the kids would love to pray for the person if the person wants them to, they are so loving and always happy seeing people around them all the time.

So this is how were able to take the pictures delivering the chickens to the orphanage home which we respected there policy to avoid any embarrassment or any form of inconvenient.
