CHICKEN PROJECT #576-607/OPHANAGE SUPPLIES PROJECT #16 NWAMAKA’S ORPHANAGE HOME.

Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. You can also read about other families we have been able to bless here. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock.

The following story talks about our visitation to NWAMAKA’S ORPHANAGE HOME, Chickens And Orphanage Supplies were donated together for a Christmas surprise, thanks to Tracy Ontiveros, Breanne Hunsaker, Barb Przybylski, Betty Pearson, Brenna Hedstrom, Janette Bartie, Nancy Aydelotte, Ann Hendrickson And Amber Given//Abigail Campbell, Ann Hendrickson, Nirmal Padda, Amy Freeman, Brenna Pruett and anonymous donor. We donated Thirty-two (32) chickens and many Orphanage supplies. Thanks to generous donations.

This is on our arrival to the orphanage home, and here are the orphanage supplies in front, we were unable to combine it with that of the chicken because they were already giving up so we need to rush bring them out of the cage and place them in the room provided to keep them, they were so much happy to see us this Christmas period.

The kids more expecially were all happy because they all will enjoy this December with plenty of Chicken in there meal i also ask them what they will use them to cook, they made mention of Chicken Pepper soup, cooking and frying them and add to rice or and Food and Enjoy it, i Smiled and say yes Charity home has done well by putting a beautiful smile on this kids face.

This are the Mummies taking care of the kids, they all are very happy, they prayed for us and also the Charity home and all General Donations before we take our leave.so see them Next year 2022.
