Ingard was going to make a quick shopping trip to Ridley’s in Middleton onSaturday. So I asked her to pick me a box of the Boneless/skinless quick frozen Chicken tenders 10lb bags $15.95 ($1.60/lb). I have had lots of you tell me how much you love their meat so I thought it was worth a try.
Remember lasts weeks post where I confessed my irrational gagging over raw chicken….. well I was really worried that I was going to get a 10 lb frozen blob of chicken (and have to deal with more slimy chicken…yuck). But I was pleasantly surprised to open the box and see nice pink, individually frozen tenders. They look like really high quality and I am excited to cook with them and see how they taste. A $1.60 per lb for boneless chicken is a SUPER THRIFTY price in my book!
