Tissue paper pumpkins, great party favors

Pumpkins are one of the first things that come to mind when I think of fall. I love decorating with them and using them whenever I can. I have never been a huge Halloween fan. I don’t mind it, but having kids has made me enjoy it more because it is so fun for them. But, I am not a fan of the creepy side of the day. I like the cutesy, fun part. These are perfect if you are like me!

All you will need is:

orange tissue paper (cut 1 sheet into 4 equal squares)

green washi tape

candy or surprise to put inside

All you have to do is take a couple of pieces of your candy and place them in the center, pulling the sides up into a little bag. Make sure that all of the edge is able to be gathered together so there isn’t any holes for your candy to fall out.

Once it is gathered give it a couple of twists to keep it from opening. Once you have twisted it shut, wrap the washi tape around the twist. You will have some paper hanging over the top. Simply trim that off with a pair of scissors to leave a clean edge.

These would be great for party favors for a fall party, a class party, for trick or treaters, or even for a Thanksgiving treat on each plate in a place setting. The kid’s table would really love it!
