Easy turkey craft for kids
Easy turkey craft for kids
I love Thanksgiving! What a great day. Full of family, food, friends, food, feeling thankful, and did I mention food? Right at the center of the table is the star of the show if you will. The turkey. So this year while your turkey gets roasted in the oven, here is a cute little turkey craft you can throw together with the kids. You probably have everything you need in your kitchen!
You will need:
small paper plate
cupcake liner
markers
tape or glue
Have your child glue or tape the cupcake liner to the back of the paper plate. If you are using glue, you may want to let it dry for a few minutes.
Add a face and legs to your turkey. Once you have drawn the face, give him some pretty feathers. I love letting the kids be creative with how they draw these. Whether they want to just color different colored feathers or patterns. Whatever! It is fun and gives them something to do while they wait for the yummy dinner.
