It’s Katie! My kids are pretty normal, they love their Fire tablets and other screens. We try and limit time spent on devices or the tv. But I always feel a little better when I know the apps they are playing are educational. Check out these Educational Apps for Kids below. Most of them are free!

My kid’s teacher recommended this last year in 1st grade and he still likes playing it! Great for reinforcing math facts.
Scratch Jr (available on fire tablets and android)
We just learned about this app from our preschool teacher. It’s coding for younger kids, but even my 11 yr old likes to play.
Scribblenauts (available on ios, android, and fire tablets)
My kids love this game. They have to solve problems and find creative ways to accomplish challenges.
Swanky Alphabet (available on ios)
Great game for my preschooler learning his letters with letter puzzles.
