I am always looking for healthy dishes that taste decadent but are better for me and my family. This garbanzo guacamole fit the bill and can be served as a dip or topping for your favorite foods. The best part is how simple it is to make! That is a must, especially during the summertime. No one wants to spend a lot of time cooking or preparing a meal when it is hot!

You will need:
1/2 cup canned garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Pinch of fresh cinlantro
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 ripe avocado
In a blender, slightly blend all the ingredients together. You could also use a fork and mash them. You don’t want to make it a puree, just give it a good rough chopping. Enjoy on top of toast or any dish you would use traditional guacamole on. Or serve with chips, crackers or veggies. All are delicious!
