Gillette Deal at Walgreens

In February, we receive a manufactured coupon for “Buy one Fusion Shave Prep Get One Gillette Body Wash ‘FREE”. At the same time, we had a coupon come in the same paper “Save $1. on Gillette Fusion Pre/Post Shave Product.  (Also, this coupon came out again last week.)

If you go to Walgreens, (this is the only store I have found the small 2.5 oz size of Fusion Shave Gel for $1.99).  Buy the Shave Gel for $1.99 and you get a free body wash (using both coupons together) the cost for both is $.99.

But this week, Walgreens has Gillette 12 oz body wash on sale for BOGO at 50% off.  My deal went something like this.

Purchased 6 Fusion Shave gels for $11.94

Used 6 Fusion Coupons                    6.00

Balance was                                    5.94

Picked up 6 Gillette Bath and Body Wash  — $4.99

Used 6 BOGO Free coupons                        29.94

Received a 50% discount on three Gillette Bath and Body Washes  –$ 7.50

I had done this deal last month and it was good then when I paid $.99 for a Shave Gel and got a free Bath and Body Wash

But this week it is a great deal.  There are no Register Rewards but again I have done this scenario 3 different times over the last month and each time the small size shave gel worked.  The first time I asked the sales lady if it was considered a trial size because it was so small and she couldn’t tell me but she was willing to try.

And if anyone would like to know what I am doing with my 11 bottles of gel and body wash, it is being packed in a box to the soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq along with other great coupon deals I have worked out this past month with your help for the “Any Soldier. com ” program.
