I reached down to pick ONE weed in my front yard, and as I pulled it up it felt like a string was attached to the weed, this “thread” feeling kept coming, and coming. Then I looked down at the weed and noticed it was NO string! 36 and 3/4 inches from the base of the plant to the tip of the root! HOLY COW!!! No wonder weeds are so hard to get rid of.
Simple Garden Tip: How to make natural weed killer. Did you know you can use vinegar as a weed killer! Pour vinegar into a spray bottle (the higher the acidity the better at least 15-20%) in the heat of the day spray the weed with vinegar, but be careful not to get it on your other plants or they will burn too. The heat of the sun will burn the weed and it will dry up within 2-3 days. A simple and natural way to kill weeds with not worries of chemicals getting on your produce!
I’m finding it hard to find vinegar with a higher acidity than 5%. Any suggestions?
