I grew up disliking pineapple, yes I hated it… the smell, the texture, the taste pretty much everything about it!  But then I got married and my husband LOVES it. I start having kids an all of them LOVE it, so it become part of our menu, yet I never ate it. That is until 2 years ago when I was pregnant with  baby number 5 and I decided to eat a piece out of the blue as my husband was cutting up a fresh pineapple.  I could not get enough of it it was SO GOOD, and still to this day after 34 years of avoiding and disliking it,  It is now one of my favorite fruits!  I am still not a fan of canned pineapple, it has to be fresh.  This little gadget is one the the best inventions ever if you love fresh pineapple too!
