Wax paper to let them dry on.
Follow the package instructions for melting the candy melts. I did half a package and got a lot out of it. They go a long way since you are just dipping the ends in. Dip the end and sort of swirl it around to make sure you get them coated all the way around. Let the extra dip off a bit and lay on your wax paper to harden.
I made the tags in two sizes, a small size for the matchboxes and a larger size to tie to some pretzel rods. So the page of printable tags has 1 of each in each size. Print them off, cut them out and you are ready to go. I used my Silhouette to create and cut out the tags. I have an old SD machine that they don’t sell anymore, but the Portrait is pretty close to the same machine. Using my machine and software I made the matchbox too. It was a shape in their shop that I was able to cut. Their program is free and you don’t have to have a Silhouette to use it, so you could still go in and print it from there to use as a template. If you don’t want to do that, there are several tutorials for making a match box.
