I do not watch many movies, for one I just do not have time. But more than that, I am irritated by all the”junk” that is added, that I do not feel is worth watching. Call me old fashion, but I hate inviting things like bad language, over the top love scenes and violence into my home, through my TV in the “glamorized costume called entertainment”.
I had a Redbox code I needed to use. So I got the movie Extraordinary Measures, I had no idea what is was about, I just saw it was rated PG and I like Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser. It is inspired by a true story, a drama centered on the efforts of John and Aileen Crowley to find a researcher who might have a cure for their two children with a rare genetic disorder.
It is tear jerker, But left me feeling inspired uplifted and I wish more films like this were made! I feel it is worth recommending to my readers!
Have you watched it and what did you think about it?
