I got an email a few weeks ago asking me if I would like to have a few hours of help from a “handyman“. My first thought was, no I think we are ok, Matt is rather talented and does not need any help. But come on lets face it, we are in the middle of a huge remodel our “to-do” list is mile long and growing. We just got done texturing our ceiling and it needed to be painted, so I decided to take Derek up on his offer and let him come help out for a couple of hours.
I had no idea what to expect but was very impressed with his follow up emails and conformations calls. As well as the time he took to come give me a bid, and make sure he had all the supplies for the job. He showed up right on time the next day and was ready to work. 
He did all the extra little things that sometimes we get to busy and don’t do when we paint ourselves. He covered the floors, and furniture to guard them from any paint splatter. He was rather quite, but very likable and easy to talk to (poor guy got his ear talked off, as I do not always have an adult to talk to during the day). I was impressed by his attention to detail, and steady pace. We were so happy with his work, we plan to have him come back and help again.
