I often say never throw away a coupon, because you never know when it will match up with a good sale, and make for a Thrifty deal. About a month ago a catalina printed out at Albertsons offering me a $25 gift card coupon for a first time prescription or transfer at Albertsons Pharmacy.
I almost threw it away because I am not on any medication, and my sons heart meds are compounded and rather complex so it is best for me to keep them in one place and stick to the same Pharmacy we always use. But I decided to stick it in my coupon binder just in case. And boy I am sure glad I did! After 10 days of coughing my brains out with this darn cold, I finally went to see the Doctor and Sure enough I have bronchitis, and needed some antibiotics. So I was able to fill my prescription at my favorite Albertsons store….they were really nice, fast and after I paid for my $10 copay for my meds I got a coupon to get a $25 gift card. SWEET!
Yet one more reason why I love, love, love Albertsons!
