Nutter Butter acorns

These sweet, Nutter Butter acorns are as yummy as they are cute. Just a few ingredients and you can make a bunch of these in no time at all.

Peanut butter and chocolate are a flavor combination that many of us love for good reason! It is arguably one of the best combos around. These cookies combine the two flavors for a party in your mouth. But they aren’t just tasty, they are cute too. Turn Hershey Kisses, Nutter Butters and mini chocolate chips into a fall snack that you can easily make a bunch of. Little acorns that you can bring to a party, snack on at home or add to some cute baggies for a treat for a friend having a rough day.

You will need:

mini Nutter Butter cookies
1 cup of mini chocolate chips
1 cup of Hershey kisses unwrapped

Melt half the mini chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for 30 second increments until melted. Stir in between each increment so it doesn’t scorch. These should melt fast given their tiny size.

Dip the end of your Hershey kiss into the melted chocolate and place it on the top of the Nutter Butter. Dip a mini chocolate chip in the melted chocolate and place it on the other side. Let set for 10-15 minutes or until chocolate hardens.

You could easily do more than this just following the same steps to make as many as you would like. Wouldn’t this be an adorable welcome to fall in a baggie with a little note for a friend, teacher or even the mail person.
