Nutter Butter Grinch cookies

Have you seen the new Grinch movie? I haven’t seen it yet, but I have heard it is so cute. Whether you have seen the new one or not, there is no denying that the Grinch is a classic and it just isn’t Christmas without watching it as a family. These Nutter Butter cookies make a good treat to make while you are watching. Movie night complete with a snack.

you will need:

10 Nutter Butter cookies
20 yellow M&M’s
how you make them:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Gently pry apart each Nutter Butter cookie.
Pour the green candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Heat in 30 second increments, stirring occasionally until melted.
Dip the end of one popsicle stick into the melted chocolate and place the chocolate end on the opened cookie and return the top and gently place on the baking sheet.
Once you have done this with all the cookies, place the cookie sheet in the fridge for 20 minutes to set.
Once the cookies have set up, you may have to re-melt the chocolate and dip each Nutter Butter into the melted chocolate letting the excess drip back into the bowl. Place back on the cookie sheet to set.
Once all the cookies are dipped, place in the fridge again to let the chocolate set.
When you have let the chocolate set, give each Grinch 2 eyes using the yellow M&M’s by putting a small dollop of the icing and placing the candy on top.
Lastly give each Grinch a black nose and a mouth to complete him.
