Learn how you can be apart of helping people who are in need with our Chicken Orphanage Project or our A Thrifty Mom Bag of Rice Project . In 2016 we started helping a young man named Ikechukwu from Nigeria. Summer of 2019 we were able to visit his family in Aba, Nigeria. While there we saw widespread poverty and lack of basic needs. We also met a young man named Isaac, smart and hard working but could not find employment. After talking a bit we found he had built a chicken coop and wanted to farm chickens. We asked him if he would raise chickens for us that would then be donated to feed children in local orphanages. The only food or supplies they get are what are donated, so they often go without any source of protein. We would like to invite you to help meet one of those basic needs, by providing Nigerian families with rice or chickens. This gift will feed a large family for a few months, or a single person a year. It also reminds them they are loved, and brings most of them to tears… as a full bag of rice is one of the most generous gifts they will ever receive. Chickens are only available to purchase as once they are big enough to butcher, so if you see they are out of stock he is in the process or growing another flock. That is why we started the Orphanage donations so we can still help feed the orphans even if chickens are not yet ready. These donations go to purchase food, diapers, wipes, clothes and medications.

The following story talks about our visitation to QUEEN ESTHER’S MOTHERLESS BABIES HOME, Babies supplies were donated, Thanks to Sonya Brekke, for your Generous Donation.
The above photo shows when we got the supplies from the market for the three orphanages we’re to take them to today been and the second photo was on our arrival to the orphanage home, of which this one was our second one then left with the third one which will be our last one, everything went smoothly because the Lord was with us throughout this great project.
This shows the full photo of the orphanage babies supplies after we must have gotten inside and bringing them all out of the carton and then arranging them all on the floor for photo with the kids.
From the look of things, I think 60-70 percent of what is here are for the little kids and then some with the rest goes to the big kids among them, the kids are so so lovely, and free for me to at least carry them and then take a photo with them before the rest can then come in before we can then take our leave to the next one before the day runs out.
When we got here the second time, they were all surprised as if we forgot something on our first visit when we brought for them chickens, so as they saw the items we brought they was extremely happy very much
One of there nursing mother was like asking me if we know before or did any one told us at the back that the babies are very much in need of this supplies at this time? And i said no, so she then said that the little babies in particular needs them more especially the babies pampers with there milk because the once they have now is almost getting to finish and i said to her, it the Lords doing, The Lord is always there for his children when they are very much in need of something and how it will come at that time is so so surprising as she is surprise now.
After taking them the photos and the rest, the now take them inside, they also prayed that the Lord will always be there for us when ever we need him, he will answer us, we will not lack, he will guide and protect us from the eyes of the evil once, and Amen to all the prayers.
