Today it has been raining all day. I have to admit I was not to happy about it. My kids woke up so excited that it was raining. They asked me over and over to go outside to play in the rain. I kept telling them no because I did not want to deal with all the wet clothes. My 4 year old Daughter Mckeely was looking out the window, and was telling her little sister how pretty the rain was. She said maybe someday when we are big we can go play in it.
That is when I realized they will only be little once, who cares if I have to wash one more load of laundry. SO we all went out and danced and road bikes in the rain. The kids thought it was so fun, and I enjoyed watching them play. I try so hard to be a good mom, that some times I try to hard and forget to let them be little and enjoy the rain.
