Thankful Pumpkin, Easy ways to teach kids gratitude

Thankful Pumpkin, Easy ways to teach kids gratitude

We have a fun family tradition to help the kids remember to be grateful.  We take a sharpie marker and each day have the kids write down something they are thankful for. This makes them stop and think of what they might write down, and what they have instead of what they do not have.

If you do not have a real pumpkin you can use a plastic pumpkin. If you use a plastic pumpkin you can use it year after year.  Which makes a fun keepsake item.

You can display it on your Thanksgiving table as a reminder of the things your family is thankful for.
