My Mom always taught me to have good manners and always say please and thank you. I tell my kids the same thing today.

My mom taught me that instead of buying ziploc containers, I can just re-use the Hillshire Deli Meats container!

I recut roasts to make steaks. I can buy a roast cheaper than 5 steaks and have more to go around . Single person, single income in an economy that requires 2 incomes to survive.

My mom taught me all about leftovers. When food at dinner is not gone, it goes in the refrigerator to be eaten in the next few days. It really helps save money on groceries!

My Mom taught me to take care of the things you already have so you don’t have to buy replacements all the time. Clean it up and put it away when you are done with it. We didn’t have a lot but what we did have was appreciated. When you don’t need it anymore, donate it so someone else can use it.
