When I was little I had fair fair skin and I was allergic to Aleo Vera (Broke out into a terrible rash the one time my mother put it on me) I learned that using tea and actually bathing in it for 10 minutes would literally get rid of the sun burn. You poor a bath with tepid water and then put 5-8 tea bags and leave em in while the bath fills up and then an additional 5 minutes then just soak for 10 minutes and you will not have the burn tomorrow and no peeling.

Its a life saver for those of us who have fair skin .

Hanging clothes out to dry in the summer is one of the best thrifty ideas my mother taught me. I own a dryer now but for the 14 years we lived in the desert of California I hung out my clothes year round. I have clothes on the line today because finally we are having nice weather here in Northern Nevada.

My mom always cut up the whole chickens herself instead of buying the chicken already cut up. You can save money by doing this.
