To make these cute puppets, you are going to need:
White paper sacks
Lime green and light pink paint
White and black puffy paint
Green and pink pipe cleaners
Paint brushes
Scrap white paper
Scissors
To get started, lay your paper bags on the scrap paper. Paint one bag pink and one bag green. Let that dry. While that is drying, cut your ears for the green alien out of scrap paper and paint them green as well. Also cut a large circle out of the paper and paint it pink (this will be Hamm’s nose). Glue the ears on the alien bag and the nose on the pink bag.
Cut a 3” piece out of green pipe cleaner, twist the top into a loop and glue it to the top center of your green bag.
Cut two 2” pieces from your pink pipe cleaner, fold them in half for ears and glue to the top corners of your pink bag.
Use the puffy paints to paint the eyes and facial features on the paper bag puppets. You could also use googly eyes for the alien if you would rather and have them on hand.
That is it! That is all you need to make the cutest paper bag puppets for your kids to get ready for Toy Story!
