Birthday Cakes can be a little pricey… but often their the star the of show. So each year I try and make something special, but lets face it I am not a pastry chef. I have found my kids really enjoy helping me make their cake each year. You would be surprised how much they love a boxed cake mix, and a little time in the kitchen with Mom. This year Maleeya wanted a flower cake with “little ball frosting” as she called it …aka Betty Crocker Rainbow frosting .
We used a few marshmallows and bubble gum to make the flowers.
All you need is one large marshmallow cut into 4 parts, put a gum ball in the middle and you have a flower.
