Walmart Shopping Trip ~ $102.97 Worth Of Merchandise for $66.26

walmart 2-1

See Tonya’s Walmart trip.

She doesn’t have any stores that double coupons. She saves money by price matching & using coupons at Walmart. She does not shop like a ‘normal shopper’,  since her 2 freezers & pantry are both well stocked. This allows her to only shop for items on sale, fresh produce & fresh dairy on a weekly basis (most produce & dairy is purchased on Sunday w/ any remaining money left from her Walmart trip & you may not see it pictured). Her grocery/stock up budget is $60 per week.  Tonya will be using vegetables & fruit that she home canned & froze during the summer.

Today’s trip would have been $102.97 but only cost her $66.26 plus tax after coupons & price matching.

She saved $36.71.

Tonya’s grocery bill for the month of January was $206.99.  She was $33.01 under budget.  Any money left over from the grocery budget is added to her grocery budget for the next month.

Please note that not all items will be used in 1 week.  The items with ‘S’ beside them will stocked for future use

  1. Thank you! I think I need to leave hubby & kiddo at home from now on though. They make my budget go UP instead of bringing it DOWN. 🙁
