Walmart Shopping Trip ~ $75.90 Worth Of Merchandise $40.21

walmart 2-22

See Tonya’s Walmart trip.

She doesn’t have any stores that double coupons. She saves money by price matching & using coupons at Walmart. She does not shop like a ‘normal shopper’,  since her 2 freezers & pantry are both well stocked. This allows her to only shop for items on sale, fresh produce & fresh dairy on a weekly basis (most produce & dairy is purchased on Sunday w/ any remaining money left from her Walmart trip & you may not see it pictured). Her grocery/stock up budget is $60 per week.  Tonya will be using vegetables & fruit that she home canned & froze during the summer.

Today’s trip would have been $75.90  but only cost her $40.21 plus tax after coupons & price matching.

She saved $35.69.

Tonya’s grocery bill for the month of January was $206.99.  She was $33.01 under budget.  Any money left over from the grocery budget is added to her grocery budget for the next month.

Please note that not all items will be used in 1 week.  The items with ‘S’ beside them will stocked for future use.

Sorry to hear about your printer issue. I’ve been in that situation before & it is not fun! Hope you get a printer soon. Look for sales & price match it before you buy one. 😉

I haven’t been able to print coupons lately but I clip what I can and do a lot of price matching, hoping to get a printer upgrade soon

The Wal-Mart I shop at is the same way about coupons. They are good about scanning them with the handheld scanner before saying no though. If they just scan them at the spot where they scan your groceries, sometimes the coupon won’t scan that way. For the most part, my store is VERY good about coupons & price matching. ~ Tonya 🙂

The Walmart I go to is picky about some of the coupons..if don’t scan they can’t use?
