CitySmart is a fun local company that offers a daily deal, at a “thrifty” discount. They offer everything from spa days, hair cuts, fine dinning, fast food, tickets to local events and more. When they first contacted me I thought “ya, another company that has a catch…to good to be true”. So I decided to try them out before I listed their deals on my site. We bought a coupon for $10 worth of food for only $5…. Very hesitant I took the coupon (printed from my computer) to the restaurant and asked if they honored this coupon. With a smile they took the coupon, and it was a wonderful way to get a meal at a “Thrifty Price”. So we use these often, and started passing along the daily deals to our readers as well.
The only draw back has been, most of these deals are in Boise area….a 30 drive for me. They sent out an email asking what they could do to make CitySmart better. I told them I would love to see more deals on the west end of the valley. Sure enough the next week they had a deal for a Mexican Restaurant in Caldwell.
They now want to hear from A Thrifty Mom readers, what types of deals or businesses do you love?
