I happen to be a BIG FAN of Buffalo Chicken, it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. But it can be a little messy to eat as a finger food. These Buffalo Chicken Slider satisfy your craving and make it an easy finger food for any party. These could be perfect game day food!
Ingredients
½ Cup Blue Cheese Dressing (or ranch if you are not a fan of blue cheese)
½ Cup Sour Cream
6 Tbsp. Butter
½ Cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
3 Chicken Breasts, cooked and shredded*
1 Pkg. Kings Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls
2 Celery Ribs, sliced wafer thin
Instructions
In a small bowl combine the Blue cheese dressing and Sour cream, set aside. In a pan over medium heat melt the Butter and whisk in the Hot sauce. ** Add the Chicken and stir to coat. Once it starts simmering/sizzling let cook for 5-7 minutes to warm through, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cover Warm the rolls either in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or in the oven at 300? for 4-6 minutes. Remove the desired number of rolls and cut open, place a heaping teaspoonful of chicken on the bottom half of each roll, spoon some of the dressing over the chicken, top with thinly sliced celery. Serve warm.
*You can cook these any way you like. I put them in a nonstick pan with a ¼ cup of water, covered and cooked over medium heat, turning every so often until 170?, then shredded with two forks.
** You can adjust the amount of hot sauce depending on the amount of heat you like. This makes about a medium heat level.
