Wash peppers, then cut in half lengthwise and take out seeds and ribs.  You might want to wear gloves while you do this, or put oil on your hands, then wash them with soap after your done. I found using a small spoon or even a grapefruit spoon works really well for getting the ribs and seeds out.  You want to make sure you get all the seeds out because that is where the heat is, if you like spicy then keep the ribs in.   Stuffed Jalapenos With Crispy Bacon, quick and easy recipe, party Recipes, Superbowl Recipes. In a mixing bowl add the cream cheese, shredded cheese and ranch seasoning.  Mix well and spoon into jalapeno halves, place  cooked bacon on top.  Put on baking sheet, and cook in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

Quick tip *** I found that if you put them on a metal baking rack the peppers will stay upright during the cooking process and not tip over.  When they tip over the cheese tends to slide out, so this helps prevent that.  Make sure you put the rack on top of a cookie sheet for easier transport and clean up.

Cheesy Chip Dip Recipe, Oven baked chip dip, The Easiest Cheesy Chip Dip You will ever make, #ChipDip, #Cheese, #DipCheesy Chip Dip

If you like a good chip dip then this is a recipe you have got to try.  I had it for the first time about 15 years ago, it was a cold winter day we were getting together for a craft night with my cousins.  She pulled this hot bubbly chip dip out of the oven and we pretty much licked the pan clean… it was that good.  I told her I would love the recipe.  I was SHOCKED to find out how easy it was! I have been making it for social event ever since, and it is always a hit!

You will need

  • 1 80z brick of cream cheese
  • 1 can of Chili 15-19 oz(with NO beans) you just want meat and sauce
  • 2 cups grated Mexican blend cheese (or cheddar)
  • 3 green onions diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Corn chips to eat it with

In the bottom of a 9×9 pan spread the cream cheese in an even layer.  I use the back of a spoon, or just get my hand wet (prevents the cream cheese from sticking to it) and press into  an even layer.  Next open your can of NO BEAN chili spread in an even layer, top with grated cheese.

Put into  an 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or till cheese is totally melted and edges of the dip are bubbly. Take out of oven, sprinkle on the cilantro and green onions.  Serve with corn chips and watch it disappear 🙂

1. Melt the butter and marshmallows on medium heat in a large saucepan. Stir until melted.

2. While the butter and the marshmallows are melting, line a 9×13 baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

4. Pour the mixture into the 9×13 baking pan and evenly press down with the back of a spoon or wax paper.

5. Let set about 30 minutes and then use the cookie cutter to cut out each ‘football.’

Football Superbowl party ideas, low cost and easy ways to decorate for game day, Football Food, Game day recipes made easy and budget freindlyFootball Super Bowl Party ~ Fast, Easy, Low Cost Ways to Decorate for Game Day

Are you hosting a football party or maybe a Super Bowl Party?  My son was having a Football Party, but I did not want to spend a bunch on decorations.  But at the same time I wanted it to look fun and festive.  I decided to make fun, low cost football serving containers for the chips out of a brown paper lunch sack.  At first I just dumped the chips right in the bag… but that left grease spots all over them.  I found it works best to keep the chips in their normal bag, and fold the top down or cut it off.  Then use the brown paper bag as the outer shell.

A bag of chips has a LOT of air in it, so I bought medium size bag of chips and it filled up the small (standard) lunch sack just perfect.  Start out by taking the flat, brown bag and drawing on the black laces of the football.  I did mine with a sharpie marker.  Open up your bag and  then fold down the top a few times to create a “bowl” out of your bag. Put your opened bag of chips inside, cut off the top of the bag or roll it down so it will not show.  You can use Football Stickers  and Craft Twine to decorate the bag too.  Clean up is super easy, just toss the bag in the trash and you are done 🙂
