Grilled Zucchini

This week my kitchen has been under construction so I have not had use of my stove.  I was making hamburgers on the George Foreman Grill, when I  decided to try something new.  I sliced up a zucchini nice and thin. Then placed it right on the hot grill, that was still covered with the hamburger drippings.  I did salt and pepper them a little, but the drippings gave them a really good flavor.  I have to say I was really surprised how good they turned out and will be making them again!

Normally I cook them with bacon and onions but this was much easier and just as good!

We eat grilled squash almost every night here. It is my favorite.
I also cut them long ways and for our seasonings we use montreal steak seasoning.
When I am out I use a smidge of lawrys seasoning.

I’ve done this before on the broiler. I usualy also add in yellow squash cut the same way. The mix of the 2 is very yummy!

We LOVE grilled zucchini and squash. I marinate it for 15 minutes in a balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing. Then grill them on the foreman for a fantastic dish!!

My family likes grilled zucchini cut in half longways with a smidge of olive oil and Mrs Dash grilled on our gas grill. Yum :)
