Healthy Finger Food Made Fun For Kids and Adults ~ Mr. Veggie Dip

Not sure why, but putting a face on something makes it a LOT MORE FUN. If you like it,then you better put a face on it (sung to the tune of, If You Like It Then You Should Have Put A Ring On It). Your welcome, now that song will be stuck in your head all day, lol. Once again I am looking for fun and creative ways to make my kids Halloween party fun but also healthy. So I came up with this idea, but this idea can be used for any party really.

To make the Mr. Veggie Dip I used a yellow bell pepper, olives, strip of green pepper and tooth picks (well the kids used all my toothpicks in their last craft project, so I had to use the ends of a bamboo skewer). I cut the top of the bell pepper off, cleaned out the seeds and ribs. Then attached the eyes and mouth with toothpicks. Filled it up with dip, and our veggie tray was all of a sudden 100 times cooler than it was before, lol. Hope your kids enjoy this simple trick as much as mine did.
