July 4th Pops ~ Red White and Blue Frozen Pops Recipe

4th of july popcicle, RED WHITE and BLUE recipes for July 4th, perfect for kids

I am not sure what it is about making your own popsicles, but my kids think it is the COOLEST thing ever.  They love to come up with new “recipes” and combinations. They make them in the morning and then in the heat of the afternoon sun they enjoy a cool treat.  Yesterday my girls made a patriotic inspired pop “Red, White and Blue”.  They plan to make more of them for the 4th of July. 4th of july popcicle, RED WHITE and BLUE recipes for July 4th, perfect for kids

To make them you need:

Mini marshmallows

Red Raspberries

Berry Blast Mio ( or any blue juice)

Dixie Cups

Popsicle sticks

Layer marshmallows, and raspberries into the cups. The marshmallows will float so I tried to layer them and weigh them down a bit with the raspberries. Fill with the blue mio, and then put a stick in the middle.  We assemble them on a cookie sheet then move then into the freezer, for easy transport.4th of july popcicle, RED WHITE and BLUE recipes for July 4th, perfect for kids
