This was a staple for my family growing up in Australia, however, over there we call them rissoles! :)
Brown Gravy and mushrooms poured over the top is great too. I actually call these chop steak vs meatloaf it just gives me another meal for my family to pick from. With meatloaf they always pick mashed potatoes and peas as a side. With chopped steak I can vary the sides and it is the same meat just served in diffrent portion size.
I have made mini-meatloafs in muffin tins which cook fairly quickly, but this is even faster! Thanks for the idea.
I can never chop onions small and to hide them from the kids, I grate them, you don't see them but the taste is still there
