Meatloaf Patty recipe, I have got to try this one!!!! Same great taste but cook in a fraction of the time

 

Healthy Tip: If you would like to make the recipe even more lean you could make them into ground turkey patties instead. 

If you do not have time to bake a meatloaf, this is a quick solution for a quick fix dinner.

You will need:

  • 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 Tablespoon BBQ seasoning
  • 3 Tablespoons diced onions ( I did not get mine chopped small enough this time)
  • Salt and pepper dash of each

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl till well blended.

Divide into 8 equal parts, form patties.  Add a splash of oil to a frying pan and cook over Medium/High heat till cooked ( normally 4-5 minutes on each side for a total cooking time of 10 min)

Eat on a bun,  or with gravy or just eat alone.  My kids like to dip it in Ketchup.
