My Weekly Budget Review
For the week of March 30 – April 5
I was able to buy $463.41 in products
I paid $77.70
Plus I still have $22.50 in Catalina’s
I bought enough chicken for my family, for the next 6 months. So my meat bill was much larger than normal. I try to stay under $50 a week, but I am flexible if it will save me money in months to come.

At Albertsons
My manager gave me this tip.  
Right now there is a promo going on Kellogs cereal 
 Buy 7, get 3 gallons of milk FREE.
 Buy 5, get 2 gallons FREE.
 Buy 3, get 1 gallon FREE.
 Voucher will print at checkout, valid on your NEXT shopping trip. Kellogg’s Cereal.

Special K is part of milk promo, but is is also part of the free eggs promo.
Buy 3 boxes of Special K at $2.49 each and get $2.00 off instantly for eggs.

I have not had to time to get into the store to buy this myself, But I think this the best deal scenario:
Buy 7 boxes of Special k at $2.49 = $17.43
Get $4 off of eggs instantly for buying 2 sets for 3 ( you will need to have 2 instore coupons to get 2 $2 off  ask the cashier for them)
Plus get 3 catalinas for FREE milk up to a $14 value
I think that is a pretty Thrifty Deal!

What to do when your Catalina won’t print?

In February I was buying Listerine at Walgreens.  I was suppose to get a $4.50 Register Reward, also known as a Catalina.  For some reason it did not print.  The manager could not figure it out either.  So I took my receipt and called the Catalina company, their number is 1-888-8coupon.  They asked me a few questions, asked for numbers off my receipt and said they would look into it and call me back.  The next day I got a call back, they said a Catalina should have printed, they were sorry for any inconvenience and would mail me my Catalina.  I did have to wait 7 weeks for it…….but sure enough today in the mail my $4.50 Catalina came.

I saved $1084.94 this month

Plus I still have $15 in rebate money on a gift card,

Before coupons for sale these would cost $99.48

she paid $39.15
Plus she got back $15 in catalinas
so it is like paying $24.15

Last week I was out of town for Spring Break.  We spent 4 days with my Husbands Parents.  We went out for a little coupon shopping. Thanks for putting up with me JoAnne, I love ya! I was able to help my mother in law take advantage of a great sale at Albertsons ( last day of sale is Tuesday)  The only thing we bought that did not have a coupon was the strawberry’s and shells & cheese.  I did  not list all the details…Sorry I was on spring break.
