The best part about this recipe is, everything in it I got for FREE! (yes that is my huge coupon binder on the counter, in the back ground)

IMG_5426To make this you will need:

  • 4-5 cups diced fresh peaches ( you could use canned if you needed to)
  • 1 can of crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 3/4 cup  softened butter
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 white cake mix
  • cooking spay
  • Cool whip or vanilla ice cream is great to eat with this as well, but optional

IMG_5427Peel and pit peaches

IMG_5429Cube peaches, and add to a greased pan.  Drain pineapple, and add to peaches.

IMG_5432Mix together and spread in even layer, set aside and make topping.

IMG_5433In a mixing bowl, add dry cake mix, quick oats, and softened butter.

IMG_5434With a fork, mix till  well blended and crumbly. ( make sure you butter is softened not melted)

IMG_5438Sprinkle crumble topping on top

IMG_5439Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes till golden brown

Another great thrifty recipe for peach cobbler! 1 24.5 oz jar of peaches 1 box of yellow or white cake mix 1 stick of butter, cut into 16 pieces 1 cup of brown sugar 1/2 cup of oats. pour peaches in the bottom of pan, juice and all. Then sprinkle cake mix. Put the cubes of butter on top and then sprinkle with the brown sugar and then top it with the oats. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 350. So yummy and soooo easy!!
