Thrifty Recipe: Fresh Peach and Pineapple Cobbler

atmgraphicrecipes (1)I was really happy with my attempt at peach cobbler, It turned out really good.  So I thought I would share it with you.

The best part about this recipe is, everything in it I got for FREE! (yes that is my huge coupon binder on the counter, in the back ground)

IMG_5426To make this you will need:

  • 4-5 cups diced fresh peaches ( you could use canned if you needed to)
  • 1 can of crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 3/4 cup  softened butter
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 white cake mix
  • cooking spay
  • Cool whip or vanilla ice cream is great to eat with this as well, but optional

IMG_5427Peel and pit peaches

IMG_5429Cube peaches, and add to a greased pan.  Drain pineapple, and add to peaches.

IMG_5432Mix together and spread in even layer, set aside and make topping.

IMG_5433In a mixing bowl, add dry cake mix, quick oats, and softened butter.

IMG_5434With a fork, mix till  well blended and crumbly. ( make sure you butter is softened not melted)

IMG_5438Sprinkle crumble topping on top

IMG_5439Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes till golden brown
