Dainty fairy gardens are an adorable way to dress up a small planter or area of your garden into a fairy garden. Buying items specifically for fairy gardens can be over priced and hard to find. That is why we decided to turn some doll furniture from the dollar store into a cute garden any fairy would love to call home.

you will need:

Dollhouse furniture (this furniture is from Dollar Tree, you can order it online and have it shipped to your store or home. However, the minimum order is a case of 24 pieces. You don’t get to pick what pieces are sent. If you have a dollar store near you, it is probably more cost effective to swing by and grab a set. Unless you want to grab multiples, and then the other might be a better option for you)

spray paint there are so many different types of spray paint. Since this is plastic and may be out in the weather, I like to get the kind that is good for plastic. I also like the metallic finish for a project like this.

Once you are done spraying, you are ready to add to a planter, plant box, garden or anywhere you want to put your fairy garden. This would also be adorable to give the doll furniture a makeover just for the doll house. How cute would your little one’s doll house look with “fancy” furniture?
