My two oldest kids are at the stage where they want to make their own food. I am looking forward to them learning to take care of themselves more….. They grin from ear to ear as they chomp down on their peanut butter and jelly sandwichs they made ALL BY THEMSELVES. I watch their sticky fingers grasp a cup of milk and leave a clear hand print. Only then do I notice the counter where they prepared their sandwich. My daughters space is nice and clean… my son on the other hand well lets just say we have some progress to make!
