Cheddar, bacon and ranch cheeseball

I can hardly believe that the holidays are upon us already! Where has the year gone? Now that it is November, the rest of the year will fly by. With the hustle and bustle of the season comes the holiday parties. Whether you are throwing one of your own, hosting the holiday meal, or just bringing a dish to another party, look no further. This is the one you want! The flavor explosion along with the crunch of the pecans will have this gone before you know it and everyone will want to know the recipe. It is hard to believe it is as simple as it is!

you will need:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon chopped into small pieces (about 5 slices)
  • A package of dry Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 chopped green onions
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Combine the cream cheese, bacon, cheddar cheese, green onions and ranch mix in a mixing bowl. Mix well and form into a ball. After you have it formed into a ball,  Arrange your pecan pieces on a plate and roll the cheese ball in the pecans.

Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. This helps it hold its shape and gives the flavors a chance to combine.

Serve with your choice of crackers and/or veggies.

A recipe that looks and tastes like it took forever that only took a few minutes is a winner in my book!
