Cole Slaw Recipe easy as 123

Many of you got 2 heads of cabbage last week in your bountiful basket.   I wanted to show you one of my favorite ways to eat raw cabbage.   I have to admit I am a little picky when it comes to cole slaw…. infact many of them I do not care for.  But I really like this one, it reminds me of KFC’s hope you enjoy it too.

You will need (the 1 2 3 part):

  • 1 large head of Cabbage thinly cut and chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/4 cup minced onion


  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/8  teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Toss, cabbage, carrots and onions in a large mixing bowl.

In a small bowl, mix sauce ingredients till well blended.  Pour over the top of slaw, stir till well coated.

Cover and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before you serve.
