Easy 2 Ingredient Side Dish

This Easy 2 Ingredient Side Dish is a crowd pleaser and I love how fast and easy it is to prepare. You only need 2 ingredients and no heat involved so it’s perfect to prepare on a hot summer day!

Every time I’ve made this for my family or brought it as a side dish to a BBQ or party it is gone! Kids and adults both enjoy it.

All you need is 2 ingredients:

Greek Vanilla Yogurt – I like this kind of yogurt because it is so creamy and pairs well with berries. I like the Zoi and Oikos brands but you can use whatever your favorite is.

Strawberries washed and sliced (If you’re allergic to strawberries you can easily use any other berry)

-Serving size considerations-

I made this for my family of 5 tonight and used 2/3 of a 32 oz container of yogurt and about 1 lb of strawberries. If your making for a big crowd I would up the yogurt to 1 or 2, 32 oz containers and 2 lbs of berries.

You can be fancy and alternately layer the yogurt and strawberries. Or line a glass bowl with the strawberries and fill with yogurt. If I’m making it I put them all in together and give it a couple of gentle stirs. Keep this in the fridge until ready to serve. You can also put your bowl of yogurt and berries on top of a bowl of ice to keep it chilled when serving.

Make it 4th of July or Memorial Day themed and add blueberries so it’s red white and blue! My kids love it as a summer time breakfast or dessert too.
