Peeling garlic is not hard, it just takes a lot of time and it makes your fingers all smelly :). They sell all sorts of fun tools to peel garlic, but if you do not have one of these NO WORRIES. Did you know that you can peel garlic in just seconds with a glass jar. You can peel a single clove or the whole bunch. Just toss the garlic into the jar, screw the lid on and give it a shake, be sure and shake it rather firm. I normally go up and down but also give it a good swirl too. After about 20-30 seconds all the thin “paper like” shell will be gone and you can now use your garlic. You can store it in the refrigerator in a sealed container too.  Both a time and a money saver.
