Make a date night a special giving back night

Don’t forget you can purchase dinner tickets starting today!

Every so often we come across benefit type programs to help people and especially children and their families who are in need. This one for Ashley Duke is one I feel we can all help with. Matt used to work with a conjoined twin, and wanted to tell her thanks for her devotion to life, by supporting Ashley Duke’s progress. We would hope all of us can contribute in some way, even a $1

Children’s Organ Transplant Association – Benefit Auction and Dinner in Honor of Ashley Duke

March 18, 2011

Silent Auction Starts at 5:00 pm

Ashley is a charming and bright 10-year-old whose constant smile is infectious. Ashley hasn’t always had a lot to smile about, though. Ashley was a conjoined twin and has suffered from the effects her entire life. In August of 2010, she entered Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City for a basic surgery. During this surgery, Ashley’s liver failed and she required an immediate liver transplant. However, complications from the original surgery have resulted in a need for a second transplant. Ashley’s family has been devastated financially. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association, COTA, a national non-profit organization is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner and auction to raise money for this family and their ongoing medical expenses.

We are seeking assistance from the wonderful people of the Treasure Valley to help this family reach their goal of $10,000. We are currently accepting donated items and services that will be auction off in live and silent auctions that evening. If you or your business have items that you would like to donate, please contact us.

Tickets to the dinner go on sale Friday, February 25th and are available by contacting Stacey Perez, 208-377-9331 or Dinner tickets are $10 per person or $40 per family.

Direct financial donations can be made at
