I have been making most of our salad dressing lately, I made a spinach salad with mandarin oranges in it and wanted to see what it would taste like if I added some of the juice from the mandarin oranges.  It turned out really good (or at least my family liked it).  So I thought I would share the recipe with you.

Recipe yields 2 cups of dressing

  • 1 cup Mayo
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Mandarin Orange Juice ( left over from the cup of Oranges)
  • 3  Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Poppy Seeds
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of fresh ground pepper

Whisk till well blended, store in an air tight container in the refrigerator
