It’s Matt this week so maybe it should be called Daddy Moments.
Our church had a camp out this weekend. We all headed out to Givens Hot Springs. It’s a nice little park about 20 mins south of town. Warm geo-thermal springs warm the water in the indoor pool. The kids love going out and playing out side.
We visited with friends, and the kids played and played! Maveric was totally in his element he loves being outside!
Dinner time with ribs, salad and fruit! Matthew was patiently waiting to go swim after we ate!
And Maveric was all smiles as long as he was outside!
Mckeely could hardly wait as she was scanning to make sure we had everything to go swimming.
It was a fun camp. The kids slept on crib mattress in the Excursion. All three had their own mattress, so there wasn’t any fighting. They ate, swam, and stayed up late watching a Disney movie till almost midnight on the big screen outside. They crashed in the truck but woke up at the crack of dawn. Why don’t they make dark curtains for vehicles like back in the 70’s. We needed something this morning to block out the sun to keep the kids sleeping so they didn’t wake up at 5:30 in the morning!
So next time you see a newer SUV driving around with 70’s curtains it might just be us!!!! lol
