Old el paso ice cream boats with Hershey's syrup

Have you seen the new coupon for Old El Paso Stand and Stuff flour tortillas.

Old El Paso coupon TX zip 77477

$.50/1 Old El Paso product (*Change your zip to 77477 a Texas zip ~ see below how to do this)

They happen to be shaped like little boats!

A reader shared this recipe that she served her family for Valentines Day.

  • Fry the individual tortillas in a couple inches deep of olive oil or other oil of your choice
  • Drain the oil off then toss one at a time in a zip lock bag (gallon size) with a mix of cinnamon and sugar (whatever amounts looks good to you) until it is covered.
  • Then fill your cinnamon boats with ice cream, strawberry and chocolate syrups (or other topping you would like). Top it with a chocolate covered wafer for the ‘sail’.

They were super yummy and we want to try them next filled with pudding and other concoctions! We have had fun stuffing these with taco meat, enchiladas, chicken chili verde, cilantro lime chicken, etc. Love them!
