What you will need for this weeks painting:

Paint Brushes  this week you will only need two brushes for this project, a wide flat brush to do your background, and a  small/ medium flat brush to do your circles.  For this project a basic brush will do, but for future projects a nicer brush set will come in handy too.

Acrylic Paint   For this weeks class you will need WHITE, GREY, BLACK and TEAL or what ever color you want your bubbles to be.  You only need ONE other color, we will use the white and black to change the shade of that color to create the different colors of bubbles.

Canvas  a 8X10 canvas is the the best and easiest surface to paint on.  You can buy a 12 pack  and get them for about a dollar each, super cheap and fun project for your kids. BUT if you do not have money for a canvas no worries we show you how to paint on the back of a cereal box too.  Yes we just cut up a cardboard cereal box and used that as our canvas.  This is a great option if you are doing a youth group, girls scout troop or school project and do not have funds to buy a canvas for everyone.

Apron or large shirt, is a good idea to keep your kids clean. Acrylic paint is hard to get out of clothing once it drys.  So have your kids put on an apron to help keep their clothes protected.

Paint Palette is also a nice option, but if you don’t have one you can just use a styrofoam  plate.
